MARTIN U WALTZ - Berlin 18 meets Timişoara 21
Tuesday April 17th, 2018, at 16:00 at the General
Consulate of Germany in Timişoara was opened the street photography exhibition
"Berlin 18 trifft Temeswar 21/ Berlin 18 meets Timişoara 21", by
Martin U Waltz https://streetberlin.net/.
The event was organized by the General Consulate of Germany in Timisoara, with
the curatorial support of the Art Diplomatic Association. Curator Renée Renard.
Martin U
Waltz is a Berlin based street photographer very actively involved in creative,
editorial and educational projects. Besides his own street-photography projects
he is working together with writer Dirk Könnecke on Violens.org (an art project on
violence), he is a founding member of the Berlin1020 Photography Collective, co-founder and editor of
The German
Street Photography Site, and is also conducting workshops on street
photography. His work has been shown in exhibitions in New York, London,
Dublin, Rome, Budapest, Bucharest, Constanta, Berlin. Martin obtained numerous
prizes at prestigious international competitions: Fine Art Photography Awards,
Moscow International Foto Awards, Sony World Photography Awards, Prix de la
Photographie Paris.

Timișoara a avut loc vernisajul expoziției de fotografie stradală "Berlin
18 trifft Temeswar 21/ Berlin 18 întâlnește Timișoara 21", autor Martin U

Evenimentul a fost organizat de Consulatul General al Germaniei la Timișoara,
cu sprijinul curatorial al Asociației Diplomatic Art. Curator Renée Renard.
Martin U
Waltz face fotografie stradală la Berlin si este activ implicat în proiecte
creative, editoriale și educaționale. Pe lângă proiectele personale de
fotografie stradală colaborează cu scriitorul Dirk Könnecke la Violens.org (proiect artistic pe tema violenței), este membru
fondator al Berlin1020
Photography Collective, co-fondator și editor al The German Street
Photography Site și conduce workshop-uri de fotografie stradală.
Fotografiile sale au fost prezentate în expoziții la New York, Londra, Dublin,
Roma, Budapesta, București, Constanța, Berlin. A obținut numeroase premii la
competiții internaționale: Fine Art Photography Awards, Moscow International
Foto Awards, Sony World Photography Awards, Prix de la Photographie Paris.
